The Ombré Brow is a new technique that is growing increasingly more popular. The brows are shaded to create a soft powder makeup look, which mimics the look of applying an eyebrow powder product. The pigment is light at the front and gradually fades darker into the tail, thus giving an Ombre effect. This technique is suitable for all skin types and ages, but in particular for oily skin as oily skins retain the colour better than they would with other techniques. The intensity of the colour can be as soft or as bold as desired by the client as it is easy for the technician to build. When first done, the ombre brow can look strong and dark, but it is important to know that once healed the colour fades by 30% leaving a softly defined brow.
